Following the governments guidance that it is safe for Garden Centres to re-open, we are thrilled to welcome our loyal customers back to all three of our centres and cafes.
Please note that in order to keep everyone safe we have introduced strict social distancing measures and ask for your help in keeping everyone safe;
Our re-opening FAQs below might be helpful for everyone to read before visiting:
What are your opening hours?
Our Donaghadee and Galgorm centres are now open from 9am - 5:30pm Monday – Saturday and from 12:30pm- 5:30pm on Sundays. Cafes close at 5pm.
Our Bushmills centre is open from 9:30am - 5:30pm Monday - Saturday and from 12:30pm - 5:30pm on Sundays. Cafes close at 5pm.
All 3 centres are open as normal from 11th-13th July.
Are you limiting how many customers can come in?
Yes, we are doing two things; where possible, customers should enter in groups of a maximum of 2. In order to give everyone plenty of space we are also limiting the overall quantity of people in the centre at any one time. We have queues areas clearly marked at the entrance to each centre which will be managed by staff.
Are your cafes open?
From Friday 3rd July, our cafes are now all open for sit-in.
We have provided hand sanitiser at entry, checkout and exit.
All our tables are well spaced out, with outdoor patio seating areas at all 3 centres. We also have covered outdoor room seating areas at our Bushmills and Donaghadee centers suitable for all weather.
Staff bringing food to your table will be wearing visors.
We accept any payment but contactless payment is preferred.
What about your menus?
We are still serving our tasty breakfasts to your table as before (until 12 noon).
Our lunch menu has a few changes. For the foreseeable we will not have the hot counter lunches but will instead be serving some of our regular dishes straight from our kitchen to your table. We will be adding some new items to the menu as soon as we get up and running!
Bakery items are all as yummy and fresh as before, with scones baked each morning and all served from the counter.
Can I still get food to-go?
We will still be operating bakery to go so you can bring treats home. And our now very popular wheaten and Guinness wheaten are both here to stay, we have to say they are delicious with our homemade soups…
Are your toilets open?
Our toilets will be open from Friday 3rd July. Please use the hand sanitiser provided before entering.
Are the kids play areas open?
Our play areas at Galgorm and Bushmills will re-open on Friday 10th July.
At Donaghadee, we have taken the decision to close the play area to create more room for well-spaced cafe seating to make room for everyone, but our team are already working on plans for a brand new family play area so watch this space!
Are you limiting purchases?
No, all our normal ranges and departments are available to purchase and we have plenty of stock of everything with fresh deliveries arriving daily
Can I get my goods delivered?
Yes our normal customer home delivery service is available, you can also continue to order goods on our website for contactless home delivery.
Can I pay with cash?
Whilst we still accept cash, we would prefer card payments at this time in both the shop and cafe. Our contactless limit has been increased to £45 and Apple/Android pay to £1,000 – contactless is the preferred method of payment.
Can I still use my cash coupons and ClubCard?
Yes you can – we can scan these through our perspex screens, please hold these up for scanning but please do not hand these to cashiers.
How are you keeping your staff and customers safe?
As well as strictly limiting the quantity of customers able to shop in the centre at any one time we have hand sanitising stations throughout the centre. Our staff also have various PPE available for use and are taking regular breaks to wash hands and stay safe. In the cafe, all staff bringing food to your table will be wearing a visor. Please help us by being patient and kind to our staff and customers at this time.
We kindly ask that all customers take a trolley on arrival as this assists with social distancing and assists with the new checkout process, but most of all we look forward to welcoming you back to Creative Gardens – we’ve missed you!
Where possible please plan your visit and bring a list, this will help minimise browsing. There will be plenty of the team available to help you locate the items you are looking for.
Please do help us by following our guidelines and being extra considerate, kind and patient whilst we all get used to the new processes.
